Comcast Broadband Fellowship
The National Conference of Black Mayors Comcast Graduate Fellowship Program seeks to provide a joint business and educational-based fellowship to astute individuals whose focus surrounds the redevelopment of our communities through the empowerment of local government. The program provides graduate research endeavors in the fields of policy and politics, with a focus specifically towards broadband and telecommunications and their collective impact on African American communities. The fellow will write, track, and research legislation and regulatory policies that might impede or promote broadband access, adoption or use. An action plan will be developed to address and implement the recommendations set forth in the “Broadband Imperatives for African Americans.”
